The Government of Thailand has decided to allow visa-free travel for two months to promote tourism.

This policy of the Government of Thailand, issued keeping tourism in mind, includes 93 countries, including India.

To deal with this, Thailand has implemented new measures to attract visitors from all over the world.

These measures mainly include relaxation in visa rules.


The rule will come into effect from next month

The recent decision includes allowing employees, graduate students and retirees from other countries to stay for a long period.

The Government of Thailand is hoping to strengthen the economy from this.

This decision of the Government of Thailand will come into effect from next month, in which travelers from 93 countries will get a chance to visit Thailand for a period of 60 days.


Extended visa to workers

With this, workers from other countries will get the benefit of an extended visa period of five years, with 180 days allowed in each stay.

In the year 2023 itself, 2.45 crore foreign tourists arrived in Thailand.

The government of Thailand has set a target of attracting 2.5 to 3 crore tourists annually.

Along with the capital Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai as well as the historical cities of Ayutthaya and Sukhothai are major tourist destinations.

A large number of Indian tourists arrive in Thailand every year.
