After a pause of over four months, Ontario resumed its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws on June 3.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held a total of 10 draws, issuing 3,719 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.
The invitations were issued under the following OINP Employer Job Offer streams: the Foreign Worker stream, the International Student stream, and the In-Demand Skills stream.
All draws considered profiles created from 3 June, 2024 to 3 June, 2025.

** Eastern Ontario includes the following Census Divisions: Ottawa, Leeds and Grenville, Lanark, Frontenac, Peterborough, Hastings, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Renfrew, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Prescott and Russell, Lennox and Addington, Prince Edward.
This stream gives international students with a job offer in a skilled occupation a pathway to PR.
To be eligible, the candidate must have a job offer in a skilled occupation (TEER category 0, 1, 2, or 3), and have obtained a credential from an eligible Canadian institution (apart from meeting other criteria).
Work experience is not a mandatory criterion under this stream.
Ontario deals with slashed nomination allocation
These draws come just days after the OINP confirmed that its nomination allocation for 2025 had been slashed by 50%.
That brings its total allocation for 2025 down to 10,750 slots.
The province is advising foreign nationals to expect longer processing times due to this reduced allocation.
